Bridal hairstyle inspiration
When choosing a bridal hairstyle there are so many factors for a bride to think about.
Hair length, texture, colour, behavior, an updo, down, halfup do….the choice is endless.
Above all, a bride’s wedding hairstyle will always compliment her dress and work into the wedding theme.
So, here are a few styles from my recent photoshoots to help with some bridal inspo.
For a long lasting bridal hairstyle, we start with hair prep. Curling hair before putting up will give movement and body…worth doing!
This soft, bridalup do is not only romantic but will work with many different wedding gown necklines. It’s also a pretty way to show off a bride’s necklace and earrings.
Sometimes a bride knows instinctively that she wants to wear her hair down. It’s important to feel comfortable on your wedding day & with hot summers here in France, a half up do can be a great way of keeping the hair gently off a bride’s face and lifting heavy hair for a cooler feel. Gypsophila was added to this long soft style and tucked in…setting the wedding look.
With so many bridal hair accessories to choose from, it can be difficult for a bride to make her decision.
One factor to remember, is to try and find light weight items if possible. There will be less chance of the accessory slipping and easier for a hairstylist to fix.
This beautiful bridal hair crown is a bespoke piece for a collection at “So Elegant by Nina” based in Toulouse. Being light in weight, with adjustable pearls and a lovely metallic finish it was a joy to work with. A design like this could also be worn at the front across a bride’s forehead or worked into a braid for a boho look.
